UKAS (United Kingdom Accreditation Service)

We are an accredited Testing and Inspection body, to international standards ISO/IEC17025 and 17020 respectively, for asbestos surveying, sampling, bulk sample analyses (PLM), air sampling/fibre counting (PCM) and four stage clearance testing. Our Head Office and Scotland Regional offices are UKAS accredited, but all asbestos survey and air testing works conducted in the UK fall within this scope.

Franks Portlock are accredited to the CHAS scheme, an accreditation developed by health and safety professionals to assess the compliance of a company's health and safety arrangements. A wide range of public and private sector organisations use CHAS accredited suppliers.
